And here I was blaming raccoons for fishing in my small pond! I had lost my Koi and several of my goldfish so I moved a metal fencing bar across the pond and have had no problem since. To my surprise this morning, I am having coffee and see this giant Great Blue Heron perched on my fence analysing fishing options and ready to pounce. Once it leaped down from the fence it was time for me to intervene and I
opened the door and it seemed to fly away. I check on the fish and whoosh... It was waiting on the roof of the house until I went away.
I am now on guard duty for the day.
